Where possible we try to use locally sourced and seasonal ingredients, not only for freshness and quality, but for flavour.

Sadly we have had to give up the unequal struggle against the local foxes. It was lovely having chickens around the garden, laying their delicious eggs, but unfortunately the foxes found the chickens even more delicious!
Fortunately there is a free range chicken farm at the bottom of the lane and their eggs are equally as good.
